Picking out a theme and décor for a nursery can be overwhelming. Especially if you are waiting to find out the sex of your baby. It seems like everything is so geared for either boys or girls and it's hard to find a go between. I love a clean glamourous look and you can pull this off for either a boy or girl. Here are some photos of our Nursery.
We chose to go with a dark tone on the walls and accent the room with white and gold. Most of the furniture I found on Wayfair. Who knew, they had just what I need. Here are some of my pro tips.

Get your big items first and then accessories.
Area rugs help frame a room. And when you have a baby you play on the floor all day long. Be sure you read the reviews if buying a rug online! I bought a different rug to start and it was so rough I had to return it. I LOVE this rug it is so soft and cozy. You can find it here: Windsor Home Striped Area Rug - Overstock - 10574838
Everyone asks about the piece above the crib. It happens to be the soundwave of our wedding song. A soundwave of the babies heartbeat would be a beautiful option too!
We chose to go with a normal dresser and buy the changing table topper to place on the dresser. This way you can use the dresser when baby no longer needs a changing table in the nursery. That cute little rocker you see in the picture (that looks just like our dog Bentley) was gift, you can find him at Pottery Barn.
